The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, dismissing the appeal file by Hon. James Faleke, the running mate to the late All Progressives Congress candidate in the last governorship election in the state, Alhaji Abubakar Audu.
The justices of the court said they were satisfied that there is no merit in the case.
Also dismissed are the cross-appeals filed by the immediate-past Governor of the state, Captain Idris Wada of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, who was also seeking to be declared the governor and that of the Labour Party.
