Former captain of Cameroon’s senior national football team Rigobert Song has been hospitalized after suffering from cerebral aneurysm, which made him unconscious.

The ex-West Ham and Liverpool defender, 40, was taken to hospital in Yaounde, Cameroon.
Song played for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon between 1993 and 2010 and also played in a record 8 African Cup of Nations tournaments. He captained his country in five of those competitions.
