A German reporter has challenged the Nigerian media over what he described as misinformation of the Nigerian masses about the president’s moves in Germany.
The German reporter, Dominic Johnson lashed out following a misrepresentation of an agreement between the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari and the German Government.
Some Nigerian media outlets had reported that the German Government had earmarked $18 billion for Lake Chad region area and $50 billion for the overall areas according to the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
However, Dominic Johnson, the Foreign Editor & Africa Editor of German newspaper TAZ (die tageszeitung) in Berlin called the news source, Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant to the president and media agency, The Cable out.
